As an adult, it's much more of a nostalgia read for me than an actual book I would have picked up. It's definitely a middle grade novel but I can easily see parents enjoying this along with their kids. It's very sweet and quick to read. It's the type of book I ate up as a kid - it's fast paced, has a kooky adventure and has a pinch of romance!

Plus, weddings were my obsession as a kid. I was a closeted girly girl, what can I say? Overall, I love this series! I really hope I can get the remainder somehow as an adult, because I only ever managed to find the first two. Four out of five stars.
